Worcester (Mass.) St. John's defensive tackle James McGillicuddy has received two new offers, with more coming very soon.
"I received offers from Syracuse and UConn," said the 6-foot-3, 285-pounder. "I also got some stuff from Maryland, which is the first time anything came from them. Boston College has already offered and Duke, Virginia, Notre Dame are sending mail while Penn State talked to my coach."
McGillicuddy, a Rivals100 member, is starting to feel the stress of big-time recruiting.
"I honestly thought I wouldn't get much attention because of where I play," he said. "Massachusetts isn't recruited that hard I'm told, but all of these schools showing interest is exciting and stressful at the same time."
McGillicuddy will attend the NIKE Camp at State College, Pa. on May 15 and will also participate in the Elite College Combine at the New Jersey Meadowlands on May 5.
"I'm doing a lot of speed work to get my 40 time down, so hopefully I can live up to the expectations."
