Two new offers for Alabama DB

Opelika (Ala.) defensive back Adrian Kindred says it’s way too early in his season to make predictions on where he may land in college.
“Right now, I’ve not put too much thought into it,” he said. “I’m mainly focusing on our season. We’re 4-0 right now and ranked No. 3 in 6A. After the season’s over, I want to sit down and look at that a little bit closer, take some visits.”

Kindred (6-1, 200, 4.45) has, however, added some more options to his list in recent weeks. Clemson was the first to offer this summer, but the Tigers are now joined by Louisville and Southern Miss in that department.
“I don’t know too much about those schools yet, but I’m interested in them,” he said. “I know they’ve got good programs.
“I’m getting calls from Alabama, too. I like them. I’d like to hear more from Florida State. They would be on my list if I did. But I don’t have a favorite right now.”
Kindred has made unofficial visits to Alabama for the Oklahoma game and Auburn for the USC game. He plans to attend the Crimson Tide’s game against Arkansas this weekend.
Four games into his senior season, Kindred has recorded 15 tackles and one interception. As a junior, he had 66 tackles and 12 pass break-ups. He's got a reputation as a big-time enforcer and playmaker in the secondary.
Academically, he maintains a 3.5 GPA and has scored a 17 on the ACT. Although that will qualify him, he plans to take the test again later this fall in an effort to boost that score.
