More scholarship offers have entered the picture for Waller, Texas defensive tackle Eddie Brown.
Last week, the 6-foot-2, 266-pounder says that he received new scholarship offers from Arkansas and Texas Tech to go along with previous ones from Minnesota, Ole Miss, Oklahoma State, and Louisiana-Lafayette. Texas Tech is a school that Brown has been recently finding out about and the Arkansas offer also has impressed him.
"I like it a lot," Brown said about the Arkansas offer. "I really don't know a lot about them, but they always have a good program. I like that about them. Texas Tech, they originally offered me over the phone, but I got the letter in last week on Tuesday."
Brown says that he doesn't have a favorite school yet and that all of the schools showing interest are "even right now."
The next trip will be a camp stop at Texas A&M on May 31. Other visits with his teammates are also upcoming, but Brown doesn't know where they're heading just yet.
"My coaches are all talking about taking some camp visits with the linebackers and defensive linemen, but I don't know which ones we're going to yet," Brown said. "We're just planning to go as a team."
With the offers coming in, Brown says that he'll most likely wait a while pulling the trigger on a decision.
"I'll probably make my decision after my football season," Brown said.
