Two more with offers at Houston school

While Houston St. Pius X is transitioning with new coach Rene Ramirez this spring, it hasn't stopped the recruiting process for several Panthers.
Defensive end Greg Daniels has already verbally committed to the University of Texas, but two more prospects have emerged.

Athlete Venric Mark has recently received offers from Rice and Vanderbilt and is receiving significant interest from Northwestern.
"He's really an exciting player," Ramirez said. "We are going to him the ball in space a lot this year and let him do his magic. He's that game-breaker that schools are looking for, from kick returns to catching passes."
Defensive end Kirk Poston received his first official offer from Kansas State last week and will be a popular prospect during spring football.
"Poston is a motor guy that can play sideline to sideline," Ramirez said. "He's going to be a steal for somebody."
Ramirez had tremendous success at Bishop Lynch in the Dallas area, and is excited about the opportunity at St. Pius.
"This job is a great fit for me," he said. "I'm learning the ropes about the district and our schedule and am ready to get our spring going. They are adapting well so far."
