Two more visits for Moore
Josh Moore won't string every school that has offered him a scholarship along for long. There's a massive cut coming, and it's going down in the near future. The Olathe (Kan.) North tight end won't so much as hint at which schools will make the cut.

At least not until he wraps up a couple upcoming official visits.
"I'll be at Auburn July 19 and I'll be at Ohio State on July 25," Moore said. "I'll probably make my list at the end of the summer. It will probably a list of six or seven and be ready at the beginning of school."
Moore will travel with purpose. There are certain things he's looking to see at each of the two campuses. The first is cliché. He'll check out the football facilities and get a feel for the aesthetics.
The second thing on his checklist is more of a intangible thing.
"I just want to be around the coaches and the coaching staffs to see how the relationship is in person," Moore said. "I want to get that on-campus feel."
From there, his list will be trimmed and trimmed aggressively. Many of the 13 schools that have offered him a scholarship will be eliminated and Moore says it can't happen soon enough.
He's ready for the phone calls and social media messages to die down. He's ready for a breather.
"It's been pretty crazy," Moore said. "It's been pretty wild. It's all starting to slow down."
As for a timetable on a verbal commitment, Moore says not to expect anything until after he completes his senior season at Olathe North. But once he plays his final game of high school football, he'll waste no time choosing a school at which to continue his career.
"I'll probably do it after but not, like signing day," Moore said. "Right after the season."
