Two more trips set for Jackson

Long Beach Poly (Calif.) wide out Desean Jackson has set up two more visits and also talks about what impact Norm Chow leaving USC could have on his recruitment.
We caught up with Jackson Friday night following the Los Alamitos (Calif.)- Lakewood Div I CIF semi-final game. Jackson and his Poly squad won their semi-final game Saturday night and will face Los Al next Friday for the title.

Jackson has already taken official visits to Cal and LSU and will take two more later this month.
“Oklahoma is for sure (Dec. 17),” Jackson said. “The (Dec. 10) weekend will be USC but they haven’t called me to confirm that visit so we’ll see. Arizona State wants me to visit pretty bad so I could visit them instead that weekend. USC is coming in for a home visit Sunday so I’m sure I’ll lock everything in at that time.
“I’m real interested to hear what SC has to say, especially Coach Chow. I keep hearing he’s going to leave and that would have a big impact on my decision. I like Chow a lot, he’s one of the main reasons I’m looking at SC. His offense and how they use their receivers has always impressed. I’m sure if he left, they would bring in a very qualified replacement but at the same time, there is only one Norm Chow.”
Jackson said he should know where he’s going by early January but will likely wait to announce at the Army All-American game.
