Four-star offensive lineman John Montelus of Everett, Mass. continues to pile up the offers, including his two most recent from Michigan and Rutgers this week. Montelus will hit the road for a few visits in the near future and also believes that he may be close to a couple more offers.
"I just got offered by Rutgers four minutes ago," said Montelus. "Coach Wroblewski messaged me on Facebook and told me to call. It's really exciting, like the rest of them. I'm just thankful for this."
Yesterday Montelus got the news that the Wolverines had also offered.

"That was a really good one," said Montelus, who is 6-foot-5 and 295-pounds. "It made my day yesterday."
Montelus has a few early thoughts regarding the Michigan program.
"They have good academics and they've produced a lot of good linemen," said Montelus.
Aside from Rutgers and Michigan, Montelus also has offers from Florida, Boston College, Connecticut, NC State, Syracuse, Virginia and West Virginia. He believes that a few schools may be next in line.
"I'm getting a lot of interest from Nebraska and Wake Forest," said Montelus. "I've also talked to Coach Cregg from USC, but we'll see what comes up."
Up next for Montelus are a few visits.
"I'm going to UConn's junior day and unofficial visits to Florida and Michigan soon," said Montelus.
