Two more offers for Peters

Garry Peters is one of the top prospects from the Peach State. Peters, 6-1 and180 pounds, is from Conyers (Ga.) Heritage High School. This cornerback/wide receiver prospect now has four scholarship offers, as he recently picked up ones from Alabama and Central Florida.
"I spoke with coach (Nick) Saban this morning and I am very excited about this one," Peters said. "I don't know too much about them but the coaches seem real cool and down too early. They said I could play offense or defense and that doesn't really matter that much too me at this point. I would like to make it out there (to Tuscaloosa) because I have never been there. But basketball will keep me from going to their junior day this weekend.

"I haven't spoken to Central Florida but I just got an offer in the mail from them. I have a teammate there and I know there are lots of things to do away from school there."
Maryland and South Carolina were the first two offers for Peters. Right now he says he does have a top five.
"It would be Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Maryland, and LSU. That's not in any order. Georgia, Florida and LSU are recruiting me. I think both Georgia and Clemson may offer me next week."
Peters has been to one junior day so far and that was to the University of Georgia.
"Honestly, I never thought much about going to Georgia. But I have to say that I loved it there. We had a lot of fun. The players and coaches were great. My dad liked it to. In fact my dad loves UGA and if he could pick a school for me it would be UGA hands down.
Peters and his high school basketball team are in the region tournament. He plays shooting guard and small forward and is averaging 12 points and 10 rebounds this season.
