Two more offers for Ohio QB

South Point, Ohio, quarterback Chris Smith is one of the top signal-callers in the Buckeye state. So it's not surprising his scholarship offer total continues to rise.
"I have five offers now," Smith said. "Ohio, Marshall, and West Virginia were the first three to offer. The most recent are from Bowling Green and Cincinnati. I'm looking at all five."

Smith is interested in at least two other schools.
"Stanford was at school the other day," he said. "I'm still very interested in them. I'm interested in North Carolina State."
At this point Smith is open minded on his college choice.
"I don't have any favorites," he said. "The only ones I've been to are Ohio and Marshall because they are so close.
"I'm going to try and get to all the others this summer. Just about all of them have called."
Despite his five offers, Smith is not close to making a decision on a college.
"I probably won't decide before the season starts," he said. "I'm looking for someplace I'll be comfortable."
The 6-foot-3 and 220-pound Smith threw for 1600 yards during his junior season. Smith also rushed for 700 yards. He is a big guy with a strong arm and pretty good feet.
