Two more offers for Obi

Grayson (Ga.) defensive end Conrad Obi is starting to get the attention many thought he would this year. Less than a week ago Obi picked up his first offer when Mississippi State extended a full ride to the rush end. Since then, two more SEC programs have decided to throw an offer Obi's way.
"I picked up offers from Alabama and Florida on Monday," Obi said.

Both offers caught him by surprise.
"I never thought I would get two offers in one day. Florida had been sending me a lot of mail, but I haven't really gotten too much from 'Bama'. I was definitely surprised by both offers."
He has interest in both programs.
"As far as 'Bama, they have a lot of history. One of my boys, Lorenzo Washington is already there too. My coach (Mickey Conn) played for Alabama also, so I know a lot about them."
And the Gators?
"Florida is just a great school and they just brought in a lot of talent with one of the best recruiting classes. They had an amazing class this year."
The three schools that have offered Obi during the last six days and they make up three quarters of his favorites list.
"I like Mississippi State and of course Florida and Alabama. I also like Georgia, too.
"Those are my top schools."
If teams really want to get in the mix for Obi, then they better do it soon because he plans to end things later this spring.
"Right now, I plan on committing somewhere late in May or somewhere around there. I take the SAT on April 1 and then I am going to take some visits and decide."
He now has three offers and is hearing from Georgia, Clemson, Miami, and LSU quite a bit.
