Two more offers for George

Jeremiah George is a three-star linebacker prospect from Clearwater, Fla. George, 5-11 and 200 pounds, picked up two more scholarship offers, bringing his total to 10.
"Middle Tennessee State sent me a hand written offer letter saying they willl send an official offer letter in a few days," George said. "I like that program. They are in the Sun Belt conference and they are really recruiting me hard. The entire coaching staff has written me a hard written letter. They really want me.

"I also got a letter from Iowa State. It was from their offensive coordinator (Tom Herman) saying that defensive coordinator (Wally Burnham) realy like me. I think they have offered. I am very interested in them. I went to school with Leonard Johnson. He came down recently. He loves the new staff and says the community is great. It seems like a nice play to be. Leonard and I are both from same (Pinellas) county. I am sure I would love Iowa State too."
So where do things currently stand for George and his decision?
"I want to wait until after the season to start visiting schools. I think it works out good because some schools want to see me later in the year. If Iowa State has offered I would love to visit them. I also think I would like to see Kansas, Marshall, Buffalo and I am still very interested in Troy. There's something about that school."
George and his Clearwater teammates open up their season at home against Largo on August 28th.
"Practice has been going well and two-a-days have been great. I am loving it, especially being with my teammates. For me, I will have a complete season if I can stay healthy and win can win the distict championship. It's been a few years since we have done that."
