Two more offers for Ga. DE

Izaan Cross is one of the top defensive end prospects from the Peach State. Cross, 6-4 and 250 pounds, plays for Flowery Branch (Ga.) High School. Yesterday he received two more scholarship offers.
"Both Arkansas and South Florida offered," Cross said. "They actually offered within ten minutes of each other. So that makes 11 scholarship offers. I am pretty excited.

"I would like to name a top five but I keep changing my mind every day. So if a few more come in and I know I would just change my mind again."
In addition to Bulls and Razorbacks latest offers Georgia Tech (first to offer), South Carolina, Central Florida, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Maryland, N.C. State, East Carolina, Wake Forest have also offered.
This summer Cross plans on camping at Georgia Tech. He has already unofficially visited Georgia Tech, Georgia, South Carolina, Florida and Central Florida.
"I know I will take a few visits. I just don't have anything planned yet."
Cross is also a standout tight end and good enough to play on either side of the ball in college. For now he's leaning towards playing on the defensive side of the ball.
"Most schools are actually recruiting me as a defensive end. I think I would probably prefer to defense. To be honest, I just want to play ball."
