Trevor Siemian is one of the top quarterback prospects from the Sunshine State. Siemian, 6-3 and 180 pounds, is from Orlando (Fla.) Olympia High School. He recently picked up two more scholarship offers.
"Harvard and Colorado State offered me," Siemian said. "Getting an offer from Harvard is incredible. I will go there this summer. My dad says it's a good place to be. A degree from Harvard opens up doors for you. I sent them my film and they were impressed and offered.
"Colorado State recruits this area hard. They have Bobby (Borcky) committed. We are friends. He's a good athlete that may play quarterback there. They don't have much depth at that position."
Siemian knows of a few visits he will make this summer.
"I will camp at Vanderbilt (June 7th). They want to see me throw. That's a pretty cool place. I will likely go to N.C. State (June 20th). They want to see me throw as well.
"I am still considering Tulane, Syracuse, Rutgers, and Boston College as schools I may visit. I need to check them all out."
Harvard and Colorado State make nine scholarship offers for Siemian. Does he have any favorites at this time?
"Right now I am open. I still want to listen to everyone and see what they say. I will keep my options open."
Siemian and his Olympia teammates will play their spring game tomorrow versus Spruce Creek at New Smyrna Beach. They got rained out last week.
