Two more offers for Ferguson

Frederick (Md.) St. John's Catholic Prep defensive end Ego Ferguson has picked up so many offers to date it seems as though it would become routine for him.
However, the 6-foot-4, 270-pound Class of 2010 prospect is grateful for each offer that comes in. He knows that each offer is an opportunity, and when the time comes to make his decision he will have that many more options to choose from.

Ferguson recently picked up a pair of new offers to add to those he has received from the likes of Boston College, Clemson, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan State, Nebraska, North Carolina, NC State, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee and plenty of others.
"I got offers from the University of California and Rutgers not long ago. I think my coach sent them film from my sophomore year and I guess they liked it," Ferguson said.
"Lately I've talked to Penn State, Notre Dame, Miami, Florida, Virginia and Virginia Tech. I'm just waiting to see what all my options will be."
Ferguson is content to sit back and let the offers come pouring in. He isn't in a rush to make a decision or even start to narrow things down.
Right now he's focused on another sport.
"My basketball season just started so we're going to be playing a lot of games," he said. "The last thing I did was go to the Florida State-Maryland game. It was pretty cool but we left at halftime because it was too cold.
"I may go to Virginia or Virginia Tech to check things out during the basketball season but I'm not sure."
During his junior year Ferguson was moved from defensive end to tackle because of a lack of depth at a position. On the season he recorded 90 tackles and at least 11 sacks.
