Thursday was another big day in the recruitment of Indianapolis (Ind.) Ben Davis linebacker Asmar Bilal as the three-star picked up offers from two ACC schools.
"I got one from Virginia Tech and another from North Carolina State," Bilal reported.

The 6-foot-3, 196-pound Bilal talked with coaches at both schools on Thursday, starting with the N.C. State staff.
"Coach [Eddie] Faulkner wanted me to call and basically told me about the offer," Bilal said. "I also got a chance to talk to the head coach as well. They pretty much told me they liked me a lot and wanted me to come down."
At Virginia Tech Bilal spoke with are recruiter and assistant coach Aaron Moorehead. Much of that conversation was learning more about the Hokie's program.
"I don't know much except for what Coach was trying to explain to me about their tradition and football program," Bilal said. "He was basically telling me about their winning streaks and talking about the college in general."
The two most recent offers bring Bilal to a total of seven. Earlier offers came through from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Northwestern and Western Michigan. The next step in his recruitment will be visiting college campuses.
"I'm not really sure when I'll be heading down and visiting colleges, but I certainly will and especially try to get down to the ones that offered me," Bilal said. "I have been asking college to email my coach their spring schedules so we can see when a good time is to come down."
Bilal is rated three-stars and ranked as the No. 27 outside linebacker prospect in the 2015 class.
