Two more offers for Benyard

One of the offensive lineman we liked at the recent SoCal NIKE Camp a few weeks back was San Diego (Calif.) Cathedral's Everett Benyard. Benyard is a huge kid and is beginning to be recruited by a host of major colleges.
Benyard measured in at 6-6.5, 318 pounds at the recent NIKE Camp at USC and looks all of it. He's not sloppy however and is very well put together. He has long arms, is very competitive and has a great work ethic.

Benyard rated among the top five offensive lineman at the camp and when you combine his natural physical tools with how hard he works, we think his upside is very high for the college level.
On the recruiting front, Benyard had early offers from Utah and San Diego State and recently added a pair of Pac 10 offers.
"Washington and Arizona have offered me as well," Benyard said. "I was excited about both offers and I'm going to try and check out those schools during the summer.
"I've already been to Washington and liked it there a lot. I'm also hearing a lot from UCLA, Oregon, Oregon State, Notre Dame and UNLV. Michigan has always been a childhood favorite but I'm not hearing as much from them right now.
"My top schools are all the schools that offered along with UCLA, USC and Notre Dame. I want to take some visits this summer and I don't plan to make an early commitment anywhere right now."
