Two more Maryland commitments

Another day of summer camp brought two more verbal commitments to the Maryland Terrapins staff. Who are the two latest players to commit to Ralph Friedgen and company?
"I committed to Maryland at camp," said Garden City (Ga.) Groves defensive end Barrod Heggs, a 6-foot-2, 240-pounder. "I was really impressed with how they ran things there and I liked the coaching staff quite a bit. They offered me earlier today and I committed."

Heggs, who ran a 4.85-second 40-yard dash at the NIKE Camp in Atlanta, will play the LEO linebacker position at Maryland.
"They like me because I'm big and can cover tight ends as well as support the run," he said. "I had never been to Maryland before but I loved it. I grew up a Georgia fan but I'm a Terp now. Even if Georgia were to offer me now, they're out."
Heggs chose Maryland over an offer from Coastal Carolina and interest from Georgia Tech, Auburn and Central Florida.
Heggs is joined by fellow defensive end Dwight "Deege" Galt Jr., a 6-foot-5, 230-pounder who could also play tight end or linebacker. Galt's twin brother, Tom, committed to Maryland two days ago.
Galt chose Maryland over offers from Army, James Madison and Townson.
