Two more for Gilbert

Vanderbilt and California became the latest schools to offer Zack Gilbert. The Charlotte (N.C.) South Mecklenburg weakside defensive end is now up to 13 offers.
"Well, one of my friends got offered by them and he put me on," said the 6-foot, 241-pound Gilbert. "We have had conversations about it, so it was really cool. My coach did let me know about both offers form Vanderbilt and with California. That's just an honor to get offered by the same school that the legendary Marshawn Lynch went too. That's my favorite player other than Darrelle Revis.

"I know the coaches at Vanderbilt are great," Gilbert said. "And I haven't been able to get in contact with California yet."
Gilbert does not have a favorite school right now but is talking to Pittsburgh and North Carolina the most.
"It was a great experience and it was really live at North Carolina," he said. "I liked the atmosphere that the Tar Heel fans gave us players especially with the basketball. I thought that was really cool and I went to a Duke vs. North Carolina game."
Gilbert is thinking about visits to South Carolina and Clemson and will likely make cuts to his list this summer.
