Two major offers for Foster

D.J. Foster said he cannot believe how fast things are happening in his recruitment and it picked up even more on Wednesday with two more big offers.
"It's going so fast," Foster said. "It's a blessing and I'm super thankful."

Auburn and Washington are the two latest offers for the Scottsdale (Ariz.) Saguaro athlete and both programs are now under serious consideration. Getting another SEC offer especially from the national champions is huge plus the Tigers want to use Foster at running back.
"It's definitely huge that they're looking at me and now they offered me," Foster said. "The offensive coordinator (Gus Malzahn) said he looked at my film and he made sure the offer went through. They want me to play running back for them and that's really cool.
"It's awesome. They said I fit perfectly into their offense at running back and I love it. I definitely want to get out there as fast as I can, as soon as possible. If I can get out there this summer that would be great but if not definitely for an official visit."
Washington wants Foster at defensive back and that's fine with him since he plays both positions well. Assistant coach Dan Cozzetto has been involved with Foster, who said he's been to Seattle multiple times and loves the atmosphere there.
"It took them a while and I hadn't heard much from Washington so I was excited they came out," Foster said.
"I talked to coach (Cozzetto) and he came out to practice and I really enjoyed talking to him. He used to coach at Arizona State and he was a cool dude. My dad talked to him and they had a good connection. I've been to Seattle a few times and I love it up there so I'd love to get back up there."
Many other major programs are recruiting Foster, a 5-foot-10, 180-pound prospect. Arizona, Arizona State, Arkansas, Cal, Michigan, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Oregon, Penn State, Stanford, USC, UCLA and many others have offered.
