Two Left For Twins

Miami (Fla.) Southridge cornerbacks Jermaine and Tremaine McCollom want to play close to home. So why have their first two visits been to Rutgers and Iowa?

“We’re still interested in those two schools,” said Jermaine, the 5-foot-10, 165-pounder and twin brother of Tremaine. “We’re going to visit Georgia Tech this upcoming weekend and then NC State on Jan. 18. We want to stay close to home so we’ll probably decide between Tech and NC State after those trips, but we’re not sure.”

The McCollom’s originally thought that New Jersey and Iowa were not too far away, but changed their minds.

“We thought about it and just decided to stay closer,” he said. “We liked both visits up north, but it’s not quite the right fit.”
