Two leaders from Jax LB

One of the top linebackers at Friday Night Lights was Sam Barrington from Jacksonville (Fla.) Terry Parker High School. Barrington, 6-1 and 210 pounds, showed he was one of the very best athletes at the linebacker position. He can run and play in coverage.
"This camp was a lot of fun," Barrington said. "There was a lot of competition here and some great players like Jon Bostic. I kept a close eye on him and I was trying to learn from watching him. That's how you get better."

According to Barrington he has scholarship offers from Auburn, Central Florida, South Florida, Purdue, Indian, and Clemson. Right now two have an advantage.
"I would say that UCF and USF have the lead but that's just because I have been there and been around the coaches and players. I just feel comfortable at those two schools. Right now I like everyone; South Carolina, Central Florida, South Florida, Clemson, Purdue, Ole Miss, Illinois, Florida, Auburn and others."
Last season as a junior Barrington recorded 102 tackles, three sacks and two forced fumbles.
