Two leaders emerge for Collins

Brenham, Texas athlete Brandon Collins isn't wasting much time with his recruiting process. Recently he just added his fourth scholarship offer and returned from an unofficial visit to one of his top teams.
Wisconsin became No. 4 for the 6-foot, 170-pound prospect and they're recruiting Collins for the offensive side of the ball. The Badgers are on top along with TCU who is also recruiting him for his ball-catching talents as a receiver.

"Both are high on my list," Collins said. "I found out that Wisconsin was offering weeks ago, but the letter is coming in the next few days. TCU is a good school in Texas and my parents like it and all that. I think I could play early down there. Wisconsin has good competition being in the Big Ten."
Collins says that both recruiting coaches, Kerry Cooks from Wisconsin and Eddie Williamson from TCU, have formed good relationships with him.
"Coach Cooks, I like him a lot," Collins said. "We talk all the time on the phone and through text messages. Coach Williams is a nice guy too. We took an unofficial visit yesterday and we looked around the campus to see the facilities. It was great."
There is no pressure from any of the coaches to commit early. Collins has made it clear that he's not wasting time.
"I'm not in too much of a rush, but I believe I'll have a decision done before football season," he said. "It just depends on what I have to get done."
Collins says he plans on going to the NIKE Training Camp on April 22 in College Station, Texas.
