Two lead for Parks

Reserve (La.) East St. John cornerback Antonio Parks has attracted the attention of some big time programs from across the country with the likes of Arizona, Arizona State, Clemson, and Duke extending scholarship offers his way.
"Right now I have about 13 or 14 offers," Parks said. "My favorites are Clemson and Arizona State and everyone else is just falling in line with them. That's what's going on with offers."

What has put the Clemson Tigers among his top two schools?
"What put Clemson up there is coach Venables and coach Reed," Parks said. "They really like me and they've taken a chance with an undersized corner to start with and in the ACC they're going to throw the ball a lot. That's where I'm at with them."
What about Arizona State Sun Devils?
"It's pretty much the same thing," Parks said.
Out of his top two, he does have a leader at this moment.
"Yeah, Clemson," Parks said.
The East St. John standout is currently eyeing a preseason decision, and there is one factor which stands above the rest.
"I'm not looking for anyone telling me 'yeah, you're going to start.' I'm just looking for an opportunity," Parks said. "That's about it."
Parks credits Arizona State, who is led by coach Ball and coach Norvell in his recruitment, as showing the most interest to this point in his recruiting process.
In addition to his offers, Parks is also receiving significant interest from the likes of Ohio State, Georgia, and Louisville. He most recently took a visit to Georgia over the weekend and has already taken visits to Texas, Texas A&M, and LSU.
