Defensive tackle Dwayne Hendricks is as highly recruited as anyone in New Jersey this year, and two schools have the upper leg when it comes to recruiting. Who does he favor?
"Michigan and Miami are the two schools I'm mos interested in at the moment," said Hendricks. "They're two great programs with winning traditions, and there will be the possibility of winning championships at either place. Both schools get lots of exposure and offer great academics."
Hendricks and his Millville, N.J. coaching staff plan on visiting Michigan this weekend when the Wolverines host Big Ten leader Purdue in a game with huge ramifications.
The 6-foot-4, 240-pound defensive lineman runs the 40-yard dash in 4.8 seconds. He's stout against the run and possessing great pass rushing skills. He has offers from Michigan, Miami, Florida, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Tennessee and others.
"I still think I'm going to visit Iowa on Dec. 12, and I'd like to set up two or three more official visits," he said. "I don't know how that will turn out with my season still going on, and with a big focus on school, but I think it's important enough to do."
