Two in ACC lead for DE

With interest from Marshall, Kent State, Virginia, Virginia Military Institute and Maryland, defensive end Andrew Holoman is starting to receive some serious interest.
The Ashburn (Va.) Stone Bridge prospect is hoping to hear from North Carolina State, South Carolina and Michigan in the future.

The 6-foot-3, 202-pounder helped Stone Bridge to an 11-1 record as they went undefeated in the district, but lost in the regional finals. Holoman went on to post five sacks, six hurries, 27 tackles and one interception for a touchdown as he was named second team all-district defensive end.
"I did fairly well this year," he said. "I improved since last season on my technique and strength."
So are there any considerations that may play into his recruitment?
"Location is not much of a factor for me as long as it's not on the West Coast," Holoman said. "I mainly want to stay on the East Coast, but I wouldn't mind being close to my family."
Currently the leaders for Holoman's services are Virginia and North Carolina State.
"Virginia is one of the schools that have talked to me the most and North Carolina State is a school I've always wanted to go to."
Holoman has also already visited Virginia. He's grown up a fan of them and even his parents and head coach Mickey Thompson went there too.
So would that make him favor Virginia?
"I guess it would kind of make me favor them," he said. "The campus is nice and their education is really good too."
The defensive end prospect plans on attending the Nike Combine at Penn State this spring.
As for this summer, he has scheduled summer camps at Virginia and Maryland.
