Two For Stovall

Things have really been turned upside down for Radnor (Pa.) Carroll wide receiver Maurice Stovall.

“The visit to Georgia Tech for next weekend is cancelled, so now we’re going to visit Notre Dame on Jan. 18 now that coach O’Leary is there,” said Maurice’s father. “We just got back from Virginia and it was a very nice visit. Getting to know Al Groh and the other coaches as well as seeing Virginia as a great institution. It’s an excellent school.”

Stovall is also considering Florida, Michigan and Tennessee, but his father thinks it’s a two-horse race.

“I’m not positive, but I think it will come down to Virginia and Notre Dame,” he said. “We’ll probably decide after the Notre Dame trip.”
