Two finalists for Virginia WR

Dinwiddie, Virginia wide receiver Sam Haskins has been a busy man in recent weeks. He has been dividing his time between academics, his basketball season, and his decision regarding his college destination.
More than a month ago Haskins was talking about setting up visits to each of the schools that had offered him.

He has now narrowed things down to two schools and should be making a decision almost immediately after his final visit next weekend.
"I just took an official visit to Marshall," Haskins said of this past weekend. "That was really good. I just think it was a good experience. I like the school a lot.
"Next weekend I'm going to Troy. It's pretty much just those two right now. I should be making my decision right after that visit."
Haskins is excited about his trip to Troy, though he has already been the school. He has a good idea of what to expect but should get a clearer picture of what life there would be like.
"I've been to Troy but not on a real visit or anything. That's where our offense comes from so I had been there over the summer. I saw mostly the football stuff but not really the academics. That's what I'll really be looking at.
"I don't think one of them is ahead right now. I won't know until I go (to Troy)."
While Marshall and Troy are Haskins' finalists, he had also picked up offers from Delaware, Morgan State and Towson in recent months.
