Two early offers for Utah backer

It appears to be a strong year for talent in the state of Utah next fall and one player we're high on is Bingham (Utah) linebacker LT Filiaga. The athlete has a pair of offers and five schools that stand out at this time.
Filiaga, 6-1, 235 pounds is the younger brother of Isley Filiaga who played for Bingham and now at Utah. The younger Filiaga earned all-region and HM all-state honors last season after totaling 98 tackles, three forced fumbles and a sack.

Filiaga has excellent size, runs well and is a very good athlete. He's a physical player who loves to hit and is always around the football.
On the recruiting front, Filiaga picked up early offers from both in-state schools.
"BYU and Utah have both offered me," Filiaga said. "I'm also hearing from Colorado, Stanford and Washington and I would really like to hear more from USC and UCLA.
"USC was the school I grew up rooting for and they're my top school right now followed by UCLA, Oregon, Utah and BYU. Academics are important to me as well as my relationship with the coaching staff."
Filiaga is carrying a 3.8 GPA and said he'll attend the All-Poly camp in Utah as well as the NIKE Camp in Provo in June.
