Two calls come in for Arlington OG
Arlington (Texas) Martin offensive guard Ray Zielinski has yet to receive a scholarship offer, but he’s already received calls from two college coaches today.
“I’ve talked to coaches at La Tech and Utah,” Zielinski, who is 6-foot-3 and 302 pounds, said. “They seemed pretty cool. I’ve not gotten any offers yet, but Colorado State has been writing me a lot of hand-written letters. Honestly, they’re all looking pretty good to me.”

Zielinski, who is ranked as a 5.2 on the Rivals Rating scale, said at this point he’s open to about anybody that’s interested in him.
“I’m pretty wide open,” he said. “I’m hoping that I go out there in our first game and show the coaches that I deserve a scholarship.”
That first game is against Haltom, and Zielinski said he’s worked hard to re-fine and improve his game.
“I’ve really been able to tell that I’m better on me feet,” he said. “I’m quicker and able to get up on the blocks better.”
