Two Big Ten schools contacting Joppru
Minnetonka, Minn., tight end Chris Joppru has caught 30 passes for over 500 yards with six touchdowns as Minnetonka has won nine of 10 games. With his team in the playoffs and headed for the sectional championship game, Joppru has been mainly concentrating on the season.
But the 6-foot-6, 220 pounder has had time to think some about recruiting.

"I've been getting calls from Louisville, Michigan State, and Arizona State," Joppru said. "And Minnesota is sending letters still.
"I'm looking at those schools. I'm still wide open to anyone pretty much. I really don't have any favorites.
"I went to a Minnesota game. But I've been so busy with football. I'm still sending out tapes to the schools that are calling."
