Two big offers for junior DE

There's another defensive end prospect from South Florida emerging in the Class of 2010. His name is David Perry. Perry, 6-7 and 240 pounds, plays at Ft. Lauderdale (Fla.) University School. Today he received an offer from Florida State. He has previously been offered by Oregon.
"Florida State just offered today," said University School head coach and athletic director Roger Harriott. "They are actually flying down today. FSU believes he could be a potential first round pick. Oregon has also offered and we should be getting something in the mail soon. Boston College and Rutgers are showing interest as well."

Perry recently moved to south Florida from Jamaica back in August. This past season was his first playing the game of football.
He's got great range and athleticism and plenty of room to grow.
"This kid is a very intelligent person (3.5 GPA) and player and he picked things up so quickly. He plays naturally low and with low pad level. David's aggressive and tackles well. And boy can he run. You should have seen him running with the players from Pahokee. That should tell you all you need to know."
