Two at the top for Durham

Plano (Texas) East three-star linebacker Landis Durham currently holds nine scholarship offers from across the country and two schools are currently at the top of his list.
"Right about now the leaders would probably be between Nebraska and TCU," Durham said.

"TCU is showing they're a good defensive school and coming off the defensive side of the football I have a strong belief in defense. So TCU for sure.
"And Nebraska, it would be good to play in that blackshirt, that black jersey. They have a pretty strong tradition over there and the fan support is pretty crazy out there and it's also a great college too and a great place for me to develop as a young man."
He has already taken a visit to TCU and the Horned Frogs definitely left an impression on the Dallas-area standout.
"It was a nice campus," Durham said. "All the coaching staff seemed very energetic there and it seems like everyone is going to be on the same page this year. I'm definitely going to be watching to see what they do this next season."
Nebraska will also receive a visit in the near future.
"We're going to be heading up there on the 12th for the spring game so hopefully we're going to be out there to see some great football," Durham said. "I know we're going to see some good fan support and we're going to look at the campus and everything. But I'm going to go out there and hopefully see some good stuff."
With visits to his top two schools is a college commitment coming soon?
"As of right now the decision is going to be after the season next year," Durham said. "Just so I can see how everybody does."
In the meantime, Durham is keeping his eyes open for opportunities, and new colleges are coming into the picture.
"Texas A&M right now. I know next week on Friday I'm going to visit there. We'll see how that goes too," Durham said. "Baylor, Baylor is on the radar. USC is on the radar. We got a lot of schools. We'll have to see what comes up."
