Twitty puts recruiting on back burner

With his junior year coming to a close at Mount Holly (N.J.) Rancocas Valley, defensive end Dominic Twitty has had to readjust his priorities for the time being. However, once the school year is finished, Twitty may once again hit the road.
"Coaches have been contacting me to call them, but I really haven't had time to call coaches because of school and finals this month," said Twitty. "I've had to buckle down with my school work, so it's been kind of slow this month."

Twitty, who has offers from Temple and Minnesota, did mention a few other schools who have been in contact recently.
"James Madison, Rutgers, Buffalo and Northwestern and a few others that I can't think of right now," said Twitty, who is 6-foot-2 and 265 pounds.
Once his school year is complete, Twitty looks to make at least one visit.
"I might visit Minnesota, but I'm unsure about camps right now," said Twitty, who would like to make a final decision after his senior season.
While busy with his school work, Twitty has found the time to continue his preparation for the 2011 season.
"It's been going great," said Twitty. "I've been lifting, running and I actually have basketball going on too now, so I've just been doing a lot to prepare myself to be the best player I can be."
