Twins Choose School

For a high school football player to receive a Division One scholarship is truly a great accomplishment. The hard work, the demanding practices and the pressures of playing at the highest level each and every game. The family of such a player must feel so proud of their son as they sign their name on the dotted line on Feb. 6.
Well, for the Grevious family they get to have that feeling twice as much. That's because twin corner backs Sean and Chris Grevious from South Plainfield, N.J. have given a verbal commitment to play football at Army.

Chris and Sean are both 5-foot-10 and 170 pounds and are two of the fastest players in the state of New Jersey. The twins burst onto the college football recruiting scene during their senior year after missing their junior season due to personal problems. Both players have been timed in the 40-yard dash at a blazing 4.4 seconds and also have 55-meter times that have made college coaches take notice.
"We are both excited to be going to play for Army," said Chris. "They play in a very competitive conference (Conference USA) and they are really trying to build the program."
Both Chris and Sean were invited to last year’s Nike combine at Rutgers University and were able to impress recruiters with their times in the40, pro agility and vertical jump. Schools such as Duke and West Virginia also had an interest in the twins, but it was Army that made the best impression. With both players scoring better than 1100 on the SAT they felt that West Point was the perfect fit.
"We wanted to play together and Army is the perfect place for us," said Sean. "It’s an honor for both of us and we are looking forward to competing on the division one level."
