Turnley up to seven offers

Aliquippa (Pa.) Hopewell offensive tackle Ryan Turnley is up over a half dozen offers now. The 6-foot-5, 295-pounder claims scholarships from the ACC, Big Ten, MAC and Conference USA.
"I already had offers from Georgia Tech and Akron and have added Indiana, Buffalo, Duke, Delaware and Marshall," he said. "Right now I think Georgia is leading. I think they are a great football team.

"If West Virginia offers, I think they'd probably jump up to No. 1. I've been down there for junior day and it was amazing. I haven't seen anything like it since I've gone on visits. If they offer and nothing else major comes, I think I'd definitely be leaning to commit towards them. They are a great team and only an hour and a half away."
This summer, Turnley plans to head to quite a few schools.
"I plan on visiting Indiana and Buffalo as well as Duke and Delaware," he said. "Then I'm going to go to West Virginia's senior camp too and maybe Pittsburgh and Marshall too."
Meanwhile, schools including Connecticut, Northwestern, NC State, Vanderbilt and more have shown interest in the Keystone State lineman.
"Of those, UConn and Northwestern seem very interested and could offer while the others are just beginning the recruiting process for me."
Turnley finished by discussing a possible decision date.
"Honestly, I'm not sure yet, but it would be great if it was before my senior season. I'm not going to commit just to do it, it's got to be the right place."
