Turner returns from SoCal

Chris Turner took a visit to Southern Cal this past weekend, but a team closer to home seems to be the one that is closer to gaining his verbal commitment.
“It was a good visit,” Anderson, who plays defensive tackle for Jacksonville (Fla.) Ed White, said of his trip to USC. “I liked a lot of the players.”

But everything wasn’t perfect on his visit.
“There were a couple of things I just didn’t like. I guess I just couldn’t blend with some things. I probably won’t go there.”
The school that stands the best chance of earning his signature is also the one that he will make an official visit to on Friday.
“I’m going to Florida State this Friday. I like Florida State and that may be the place I’m going to, so I’m ready to go on the visit.”
Clemson, Florida and Georgia are possible January visits if Anderson doesn’t decide before then.
He is 6-foot-3, 265 pounds and is considered the No. 16 defensive tackle in the country by Rivals100.com.
