Turner likes the ACC

Brandon Turner is a resident of Charlottesville, Va. so it's only natural that he's interested in three ACC schools. Which schools are they?
"I really like Virginia Tech, Duke and Virginia," he said. "It would be real nice to play in the ACC, especially after expansion. With Miami and Virginia Tech coming into the league it's going to be great competition and it would be cool to be a part of it on a weekly basis."

At 6-foot-1 and 185 pounds, Turner runs the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds and has received interest from those three schools. He's also interested in smaller local schools such as Richmond and Hampton.
"Obviously I'd like to play at Tech, Duke or UVA. But if things don't work out there I can go to Richmond, Hampton or some place like that, get a lot of playing time and get a great education too. I'm really not concerned too much about not having the offers now."
Turner plans on sending out a highlight tape to his favorite schools next week and has been told he might receive offers within the month if the coaches like what they see.
"I'm taking an unofficial visit to Duke this Saturday," he said. "It's tough that they lost their coach, Carl Franks, because he was a good guy. But they just struggled a lot. Their new coach is doing a good job, but I'm not sure who's going to be there next year."
When will Turner make a decision?
"As soon as possible. I don't want to wait long to make a decision. There's a good chance that I'll make a commitment when I receive my first offer."
