Turnage sets AM, TCU visits

Houston (Texas) Chavez tight end Harold Turnage is all set for his first two official visits.
Scholarship offers have come in from Oklahoma State, Wisconsin, TCU, and Boise State for Turnage. New ones could be popping up and that has shifted his visit schedule. Texas A&M is now a new school on the scene for the 6-foot-3, 260-pounder.

"I'm going on official visits to Texas A&M and TCU in a couple of weeks," Turnage said. "Texas A&M told they that they're going to offer me, but they haven't sent me anything yet. The coaches have come by the school before and they may do an in-home visit before I take my official visit.
"I'll go to A&M on Jan. 19 and TCU on Jan. 12."
Turnage says that he's looking to decide after those two visits. He added that there are two main factors that will come to mind when making a decision.
"Academics is first," Turnage said. "That's big with me to see how they're program is. Then it's the environment that the school has."
Turnage added that most schools are recruiting him as a tight end, defensive end, or even possibly as an inside linebacker.
