Turk McBride names three favorites

Camden (N.J.) Woodrow Wilson defensive end Claude "Turk" McBride admitted that he entered his last official visit with a closed mind. However, his eyes were opened this weekend.
"Virginia was a very impressive place," said the 6-foot-4, 235-pounder. "I went down there wondering if they were as big-time as the other schools I had visited. I quickly found out that Virginia is a big-time school and they're going places."

The Cavaliers want McBride as a linebacker, something he was unsure about before his visit.
"I was wondering how that would work at first, but now I understand completely," he said. "They are very impressive people down there. They explained everything and showed me how I'd fit. I was very cool."
McBride was hosted by fellow New Jersey native Wali Lundy on his visit. Despite the great trip, McBride is wide open.
"All five teams have a shot," he said. "My top three are Tennessee, Florida and Virginia, but that doesn't mean that Ohio State and NC State are out. I have a lot of thinking to do."
McBride doesn't expect any coaches to visit this week as he's pretty mcuh told them he needs space.
"I'll probably announce next week at school," he said. "This week I'll just think things over and see where I fit the best. It's going to be a tough decision."
