Turk makes his choice

Will it be the national champs or the perennial SEC power? Claude "Turk" McBride has decided between Ohio State and Tennessee.
McBride, who had more than 50 scholarship offers out of Camden (N.J.) Woodrow Wilson, wavered back and forth between the two schools. In the end it was Tennessee for the 6-foot-4, 235-pound defensive end.

"I just went with my heart. I had a great time when I was there on my visit and I've spoken with Coach Fulmer a lot, he's a great guy. This is without a doubt the toughest thing I ever had to do."
Turk was seriously considering Ohio State up until the very last night.
"I thought real hard about both schools. Ohio State, they're the national champs and I liked the campus a lot. I just felt that I fit in better at Tennessee."
