Tulsa RB holding one offer

Tulsa (Okla.) Washington running back Felix Jones broke his ankle early during his junior season. He is recovering well and working on his speed this spring on the track.
“I am getting close,” the 5-foot-11, 197-pound Jones said. “I am working on my speed this spring and it is getting me back to near full-speed.”

Jones still holds an early offer from Texas A&M.
“They offered me early on,” he said. “They are still my only scholarship offer. I do think I’ll get some more offers as the season gets a little closer.”
Other schools expressing interest at this point include Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Kansas State, Kansas, Nebraska and Arkansas.
“I am getting mail from them all and my coach has told me some of them have talked to him. We’ll see how it goes. I need to get back to 100 percent and show the coaches I am healed up from the injury.”
