Tulsa DE still waiting on recruiting

Tulsa (Okla.) Union defensive end Adam Blankenship maintains he will ride through the season before worrying about recruiting.
“I’m not really planning on doing anything serious with committing until after the season,” the 6-foot-4, 238-pound Blankenship said. “I am focusing on my senior season. I want to enjoy it and not have to worry a lot about schools and that stuff.”

Blankenship’s decision to wait hasn’t kept schools from calling the three-star end.
“I have gotten calls from Arkansas, Missouri, Baylor, Kansas State, Nebraska, Tulsa, Wyoming and Texas Tech,” he said. “I have had some good talks. But nothing really right now really sticks out.”
Blankenship has kept busy this fall watching his brother in action.
“I go to Tulsa games because my brother plays there,” he said. “I did go to an Arkansas game when they played Tulsa.”
Union sits at 3-0 right now.
“I don’t know my stats. I’ve been having some good games. So, I feel good about it. I do know I have a couple of sacks.”
