Klein, Texas outside linebacker Brian Moore made his college decision on Monday.
The 6-foot-1, 182-pounder made his commitment to Tulsa this week and says that there were several reasons why he chose the school.
"First of all, they showed the first interest in me and they saw potential even though I was a one-year player," Moore said."Academics was also one of my main priorities and they have that to offer. They have the major I want – engineering. Plus, I just like the feel of the town and how I fit into the scheme really well.
"I don't know. Tulsa just came off well with me."
Moore says that with his commitment in the books, the pressure is certainly off.
"I don't have to worry now about any deadlines," Moore said. "It takes a lot of pressure off. I was going to wait until the end of the summer anyway and this is what I've worked for."
Playing time is also a plus for Moore. He says that with losses at his position, he's going to come in and compete right away.
"They said I could be a four-year starter," he said. "They plan on me coming in and getting things going right off the bat."
