Tulane visit on hold for Texas DE

Dallas (Texas) Carter defensive end Ryan Johnson was scheduled to visit Tulane this weekend, but another opportunity arose.

“I didn’t take a visit this weekend,” the 6-foot-5, 240-pound Johnson said. “I decided to wait until next week. I played in an all-star game here. The game went great. I had to push the visit back a week.”

Carter’s visit to Tulane has been rescheduled for the weekend of Jan. 23.

“I am also still thinking about Arizona, Baylor and Kansas too. The visit next weekend will be the last one I take. I had one set with Baylor, but I won’t take it. I still consider myself committed to Tulane. I’m just making sure it is the right place for me. After my visit next week, I will make my final decision.”
