Tulane tags Texas cornerback

Arlington (Texas) Lamar had one of the best seasons in the state of Texas and one of its top players has decided on where he’s going to play his college football at. So who was the lucky team to land Lamar cornerback Billy Skinner?
“I committed to Tulane today,” Skinner, who is 6-foot and 185 pounds, said. “They’re an up-and-coming program and they’re a great fit for a player like me. They need people that can come in and make plays, and I think I fit that role perfectly.”

Skinner, who visits Tulane this weekend, also liked Tulane’s solid academic program.
“You can’t beat the combination of football and books that I’ll get down there,” Skinner said.
Skinner was also recruited by Arkansas, Missouri, Rice and Toledo. He is two-star selection by Rivals.com
