Tuggle makes a decision

Duluth (Ga.) Northview quarterback Justin Tuggle has given a verbal commitment to an Atlantic Coast Conference program. The talented signal caller gave his pledge shortly after receiving a scholarship offer from this school this week.
"I committed to Boston College," Tuggle said. "I actually committed today. They offered me earlier this week, but I had a feeling that the offer was coming and what I was going to do when they did offer, so I didn't have to think about it long."

There were several reasons that Tuggle picked the Eagles.
"I picked them because I liked their coaching staff," he said. "I liked the town, the academics and everything about it. I went up there last weekend and liked everything about it."
Tuggle picked the Eagles over Mississippi State, Indiana and Ohio University.
"This is my final decision," he said. "(Boston College) said they were looking for a quarterback that could throw the ball down the field and also a quarterback that is mobile that won't get caught in the pocket."
The 6-foot-3, 205-pound Tuggle, the son of former Atlanta Falcons linebacker Jessie Tuggle, is the nation's No. 18 pro-style quarterback according to Rivals.com.
Tuggle is the seventh verbal commitment for Boston College in this year's class and the first from the state of Georgia or the Southeast region.
