Tucker looking at official trips

Olajuwon Tucker is still taking the recruiting process slowly but the Gardena (Calif.) Serra defensive end has started to consider official visits.
The 6-foot-4, 225-pound three-star prospect who recently looked good at the B2G Elite Camp said he wants to definitely see Arizona State and Miami this fall but no decision is close and he doesn't plan to rush anything in terms of a commitment.

"As far as officials, I'm definitely going to go to Miami and Arizona State," Tucker said. "Those two stand out so far.
"Miami is a great school. They've been hitting me up since they offered me. Arizona State is the same and my brother took a visit there and really liked it so I want to see it for myself."
Tucker's brother, Tim, visited Arizona State some years back but ended up at Washington. Still, Tucker said his brother talked highly of the Sun Devils so he's definitely taking that into consideration as his recruitment moves forward.
So far, the Gardena Serra standout has been offered by Arizona State, Colorado State, Miami, San Diego State, San Jose State and Utah. The Utes are also being considered since Tucker said that coaching staff has been highly involved in recent months.
There is some new interest from the ACC but Tucker said it's still preliminary so he doesn't know if a visit will happen.
"There is not a whole lot new," Tucker said. "It's still the same offers but recently I started to talk with Duke. They hit me up on Facebook and I'm trying to get in contact with them.
"I'm taking my time right now. I don't want to rush anything at all."
