Tucker has options

Memphis (Tenn.) Memphis University School running back Shane Tucker claims three offers at this time. The 6-foot-0, 208-pounder also believes that he's on the verge of landing his first BCS offer.
"I've got offers from Arkansas State, Middle Tennessee and Western Kentucky," he said. "I like all of them and don't really have any favorites or anything. I'm just letting the recruiting process play out and trying to be patient. I'll probably make my decision before school gets back."

As for who else may offer, Tucker discussed it.
"I know Auburn likes me a lot and Ole Miss is close to offering," he said. "I've also heard that Tennessee likes me a lot. Tennessee and Auburn just liked me at camp, but Ole Miss I did really well at their camp and in one-on-ones. They want me to come back on July 20th to see how I play on defense. If I do well then, I think I can get an offer."
Tucker has also lined up another camp at Alabama.
With a potential decision as soon as the end of the summer, Tucker discussed what he hopes to find in a college.
"I love all the schools and don't really have a favorite," he said.
"I'm just looking for a school that can first of all have strong academics. I don't really know what I want to study, I'm undecided. I want somewhere that will help me graduate first and foremost though. Second of all, I want a school I can play at. I'm looking at the depth chart and the type of offense they run, whether it's the spread or pro-I type. That is what I'm most looking for."
Last season, Tucker posted 1,137-yards rushing and 19 touchdowns.
Also a star baseball player, Tucker is getting college and Major League Baseball looks.
"I'm getting interest for baseball as a centerfielder from Ole Miss, Arkansas State and Middle Tennessee," he said. "The Tennessee Smokies from AA are also looking at me. I'm considering baseball too."
