Troutman holds three offers

Defensive end Johnnie Troutman will be one of the most sought-after prospects in the region at his position. With a good frame, great skills and three offers in hand, the Garden State lineman has plenty of reasons to be excited about the future.
At 6-foot-5, 270-pounds, the Browns Mills (N.J.) Pemberton Township prospect runs the 40-yard dash in 4.9 seconds.

"I've got a written offer from Rutgers and Boston College and Virginia have both verbally offered me," Troutman said "Several other schools have come pretty close and have pretty much told me they will."
What other schools are recruiting Troutman?
"I'm being recruited by a lot right now," he said. "Michigan, Iowa, Notre Dame, Maryland, West Virginia, Wisconsin and N.C. State are all sending me stuff, in addition to the three that have offered. I grew up a big Miami fan, but they haven't shown too much interest yet."
As a junior, Troutman recorded 69 total tackles (19 solo, 50 assists), four sacks, seven tackles for loss and recovered one fumble. He was named all-county, all-division, all-Group 3, second team all-South Jersey and second team all-state.
