"I decided not to go to Virginia," Troutman said. "I just wanted to get the recruiting process over with."

Troutman made official visits to Ohio State, Penn State, and Maryland.
"It's down to Penn State and Ohio State," he said. "I'll probably tell everyone sometime next week."
Jim Tressel has already made his home visit giving Joe Paterno the last shot.
"Coach Paterno comes here tonight," Troutman said.
While Troutman said he would likely not announce anything tell sometime this coming week, a commitment to Paterno tonight can not be ruled out especially with all the speculation that the Nittany Lions are the team to beat.
"They are even right now," Troutman said of Penn State and Ohio State.
The 6-foot-4 and 289-pound Troutman is the No. 37 strongside defensive end prospect in the Rivals.com player rankings and the No. 10 prospect in the state of New Jersey.
